Utah Parks - TrainingLeader-Specific Basic Training

Leader-Specific Training

Leader-Specific Training is required for new Scout leaders, either for the first time, or in a new capacity.

Use the table below to find a resource for you to complete Leader-Specific Training.

Youth Protection is the very first training you should take, and this training must be retaken every two years. It is done online and only takes 20-30 minutes. Definitely a first and top priority. When you go to the site, make sure your account includes your BSA membership ID so that the training can be automatically recorded.

If you are a Cub Scout Leader, you can complete all of your training through the my.scouting.org Training Portal.
