Uintah Chapter Ordeal  (open to everyone)

 

WHAT

An Ordeal sponsored by Uintah Chapter.  All eligible Candidates are welcome to attend this Ordeal.  It will at Bacon Memorial Park (Council Scout Camp) near Roosevelt, Utah

The date is May 3 – 4, 2018.

WHY

This is an opportunity for Scouts and leaders elected to the Order of the Arrow to complete the Ordeal and become members of the OA.

WHO

Any Candidate for the OA in the Council and Arrowmen interested in help the Candidates have a successful Ordeal.

PRICE

  • $15 for Candidates
  • $10 for Arrowmen and Staff
  • $5 for Family members at the dinner only

WHAT TO BRING

Everyone

  • Since Bacon Memorial Park is in the Uintah Mountains, expect it to be cold this weekend
  •  Everyone MUST bring a completed BSA medical form, parts A & B in order to participate.  (You do not have to fill out part C and you do not need a doctor's signature.)
  • Bring work clothes, gloves, and a shovel or a rake with your name on it.
  • Bring your Scouting Spirit

 Ordeal Candidates

  • Scout Uniform
  • If you registered as an Ordeal Candidate, remember to bring a backpack that can carry your sleeping bag, ground cloth, tent, etc. for an overnight sleep outside.  
  • COME PREPARED for all types of weather (Snow, Rain, sunshine, etc)

SCHEDULE

FRIDAY:

  • 6 pm Arrive @ Bacon Park
  • 7 pm Dinner
  • 9 pm Pre-Ordeal

SATURDAY

  • 2 pm Ordeal Ceremony
  • 2:30 pm Ordeal Feast
  • 3 pm-5 pm Game-Activity Time
