Order of the Arrow Provo Peak Ordeal

WHAT

An Ordeal sponsored by Provo Peak Chapter of the Order of the Arrow.  All eligible Candidates are welcome to attend this Ordeal.  It will at Perl Training Center at Camp Tifie near Mount Pleasant.  The date is May 17-18, 2019.

WHY

This is an opportunity for Scouts and leaders elected to the Order of the Arrow to complete the Ordeal and become members of the OA.

WHO

Any Candidate for the OA in the Council and Arrowmen interested in help the Candidates have a successful Ordeal.

PRICE

  • $20 for Candidates
  • $10 for Arrowmen and Staff
  • $5 for Family members at the dinner only

WHAT TO BRING

Everyone

  • Everyone MUST bring a completed BSA medical form, parts A & B in order to participate.  (You do not have to fill out part C and you do not need a doctor's signature.)
  • Bring work clothes, gloves, and a shovel or a rake with your name on it.
  • Bring your Scouting Spirit

 Ordeal Candidates

  • Scout Uniform
  • If you registered as an Ordeal Candidate, remember to bring a backpack that can carry your sleeping bag, ground cloth, etc for an overnight sleep outside.  
  • COME PREPARED for all types of weather (Snow, Rain, sunshine, etc)
  • You will need your BSA Member ID to complete your registration.  You can obtain your BSA Member ID from my.scouting.org, from your Unit Leader, or the local Scout Service Center by emailing help@utahscouts.org.  Without that number, we cannot complete processing your registration in the Order of the Arrow.

  • 7:00-8:00 PM Registration
  • 8:00 PM Cracker Barrel
  • 9:00 PM Pre-Ordeal Ceremony

SATURDAY

  • 6:30 AM Wake Up
  • 7:00 AM Breakfast
  • 11:00 AM Lunch
  • 3:00 PM Ordeal Ceremony
  • 4:00 PM Dinner

Cancellation Policy
Any down payment collected at time of registration for any event is non-refundable. Refunds of fees requested at least two weeks prior to an event will be fully granted (less any down payment). No refunds are given if a registration is cancelled or the number of attendees is reduced within two weeks of your scheduled event.
