2019 11-Year-Old Camp


You are only 11 once! This is the major camp for 11-year-old boys. The intent of the camp is to make available the opportunity to learn many of the skills needed for Tenderfoot, Second-Class and First-Class Rank. Boys can pass off many requirements toward their rank advancement at eight stations: cooking, knots, flag etiquette, animals & plants, fitness, compass, Scout spirit and First Aid.


  • Boys turning 11 before June 22, 2019


  •   $10 per participant (Each Scout and adult advisor)


  • BOYS:  Compass, sack lunch, health form (mandatory), Scout Handbook, coat or rain poncho, folding pocket knife (only if you have earned the Totin' Chip card), camp chair, water bottle or canteen (there will be water refilling stations), overnight camp gear (check list of "Scout Outdoor Essentials" in Scout Handbook).
  • UNITS: Patrol flag, patrol yell (for closing ceremony), overnight camp gear (check list of "Scout Outdoor Essentials" in Scout Handbook. Supplies for the Great Pancake Cook-Off include: a tin lizzie or metal garbage can lid to build your fire on (BSA rules state that the fire MUST be 18' off the ground), a small lightweight (not cast iron) frying pan, pancake turner, oil to grease the cooking pan (NO SPRAY OIL), plate and fork (for leader to eat the pancake), jam, syrup or your favorite pancake topping, gloves to handle the hot pan, small liquid fuel backpacking stove with fuel as a back-up in case fire restrictions are put in place last minute. The planning committee will furnish: matches, wood tinder, pancake mix and water.



  • 2:00pm - Patrols may begin arriving for patrol over-night camping


  • 08:00 am - Check-in at registration tables
  • 08:30 am - Opening ceremony around flag pole
  • 09:00 am - Patrols attend 4 stations (about 35 minutes each)
  • 11:40 am - Lunch
  • 01:05 pm - Patrols attend 4 other stations (about 35 minutes each)
  • 03:45 pm - Closing ceremony and awards

Camp Rules and Instructions: Remember: This is a Scout Camp! All Scouts should live by and practice the Scout Oath and Law at all times.

  1. Heavy emphasis on Patrol Method.
  2. Clean-up campsites after the close of camp and please make sure that all garbage is taken with you.
  3. Lights out at 10:30 p.m. No boys should be out of their camp area after 10:00 p.m. Leaders please make sure that this is enforced.
  4. If an emergency occurs, please contact a member of the camp staff immediately.
  5. You must be having fun at all times. If not, see a leader. :)

Cancellation Policy
Refunds of fees requested at least two weeks prior to an event will be fully granted. No refunds are given if a registration is canceled or the number of attendees is reduced within two weeks of your scheduled event.
